My sons and daughters, students of Faculty of Engineering – Sohag University. Welcome to your faculty, which is one of the beacons of engineering sciences spread throughout our beloved Country, and which supplies the strongholds of industry and development with distinguished engineers those who contribute to building and developing our beloved homeland who are known to be the architects of progress and the foundation of development for their nations. Therefore, this great honour is bestowed upon engineering faculties. It is also a great honour for us to welcome new, outstanding, and distinguished students this academic year, and we will strive to ensure that they will become the cornerstone of our beloved Egypt's renaissance. Faculty of Engineering in Sohag is considered one of the leading engineering faculties in Egypt which is moving forward to become one of the pillars of development in Egypt, as it contains 6 undergraduate programs Civil Engineering Program - Electronics and Communications Engineering Program - Power and Electrical Machines Engineering Program - Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Program - Architectural Engineering Program - Structural Engineering Program In addition to postgraduate programs (Diploma, Master's, and Doctorate), my message to you is to love your country, and to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to carry the banner of building our dear homeland, as well as to participate in various sports, arts, and scientific activities..
