A word from the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research
our distinguished faculty members, and my dear students and researchers, it is my pleasure to welcome you at Faculty of Engineering, Sohag University, Egypt, where we continue to work on supporting our scientific journey and developing the postgraduate studies and scientific research system in engineering sciences. This sector is the cornerstone of any institution that aspires to leadership Scientific research is the pillar upon which societies rely in the paths of progress and innovation, and this is what we are keen to promote as one of our priorities in order to achieve a qualitative leap in various disciplines.
In the graduate studies and research sector, we are committed to providing a comprehensive academic environment that supports and motivates researchers to produce rigorous research capable of addressing modern challenges and meeting the needs of society. We also strive to offer innovative graduate programs that conform to international quality standards and respond to the demands of the job market.
I urge graduate students and researchers to seize the opportunities available to them, engage seriously in research, participate in scientific activities at the faculty and stay updated in their respective fields.

نبذه عن الدراسات العليا بالكلية
- بدأت الدراسات العليا بكلية الهندسة – جامعة سوهاج في العام الجامعي 2019/2020م حيث بدأ القيد والتسجيـــــــل لدرجتي الدبلوم والماجستيـر في قسمي الهندسة المدنية والكهربائية .
- بدأت الدراسة في درجة الدكتوراه في قسم الهندسة المدنية (هندسة الانشاّت المتقدمة) وفي قسم الهندسة الكهربائية (هندسة القوى الكهربية وهندسة الاتصالات و الكترونيات ) في العام الجامعي 2021/2022م.
- تم العمل بلائحة كلية الهندسة –بتاريخ 28/8/2008 بالقرار الوزاري رقم (2407) بنظـام الساعات المعتمـدة.

1- Original Academic Qualification Certificate (for graduates of Egyptian public universities) (or an equivalent certificate from the Supreme Council of Universities for graduates of non-Egyptian public universities).
2-Certificate of Courses Taken During the Bachelor’s Degree2
3-Birth certificate or an official extract thereof.
4- Military service status.
5- Copy of national identity card.
– 6- Declaration of full-time commitment as per Article (5) and approval from the employer for those working in government agencies
